Really, how lucky was that to visit Florence, Italy on June 24th, the day the city celebrates the feast day of their patron saint, San Giovanni Battista (St. John the Baptist)! There were all sorts of celebrations and pageantry going on! These robed gentlemen are processing to the front of the Duomo.
